SPIN Cafe is a Community Engagement Organization Dedicated to Serving People in Need. SPIN Café's mission is to provide meal services, laundry services, education, vocational training, support groups, and community capacity building services.

SPIN currently serves dinner for approximately 60 people every Tuesday and Thursday late afternoon, from ~5pm to 6pm at its facility.  SPIN relies entirely on volunteers and community donation to be able to provide its services.

SPIN also provides free phone and WIFI to the guests, which is critical in order for them to access many resources.... scheduling appointments for medical, setting up a job interview, applying online for work opportunities, conducting job searches, and checking email.

In addition we provide the means for most of our volunteers to obtain their food worker's cards online which is necessary if they want to obtain a career in food service. They also provide vocational training and work experience, which looks great on a resume. Patrons can also access free toiletries, use the restroom to clean up, and take any one of the hundreds of books to keep.
